1. Overview of Services

Match Your Floor (“we”, “us”, “our”) offers consultation services to assist homeowners, designers, and renovation professionals in selecting hardwood flooring suitable to their space, design, and budget.

Our services include:

  • Professional flooring consultations (virtual or in-person within GTA)

  • Product recommendations based on style, lighting, layout, and budget

  • Sample delivery of hardwood flooring for client review

  • Assistance with purchasing through third-party distributors

We do not sell or install flooring directly. All purchases and installations are completed through third-party providers. We only facilitate the selection process and act as an advisor.

2. Pricing and Payment

Our pricing model is transparent:

  • No charge for consultation services if you purchase flooring through our partner distributors. We receive a small margin or commission directly from them.

  • If you choose to purchase elsewhere, we charge a flat consultation fee of $97 CAD. This fee includes full support, product recommendations, and sample delivery (within GTA).

3. Sample Delivery

For clients within the Greater Toronto Area, we offer sample delivery to help evaluate product options in your own space.

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, sample availability and shipping time may vary based on distributor stock and logistics.

4. No Guarantee of Outcome

Match Your Floor does not guarantee any specific result, such as suitability, longevity, or pricing of products recommended. We provide recommendations based on information available at the time of consultation.

We are not responsible for:

  • Product performance, delivery delays, or quality issues from third-party distributors

  • Installation outcomes (even when we connect you with trusted installers)

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from your use of our services or recommendations.

All decisions regarding product purchase and installation are made at your own discretion and risk.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through our website, emails, consultations, and materials — including logos, text, images, graphics, and layouts — is the intellectual property of Match Your Floor.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

7. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree:

  • To provide accurate project information

  • To understand that product selection and final purchase are your responsibility

  • To use our advice as a guide, not as a binding specification

8. External Links and Third-Party Services

Our website or communications may include links to third-party distributors or service providers. We are not responsible for their content, pricing, policies, or practices.

Purchasing products or services through these third parties is done at your own risk and discretion.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if we believe that our consultation services are being misused or if accurate information is not provided.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
All changes will be posted on our website with the new effective date.
